Formerly editorial director of Bradt Travel Guides, Tricia Hayne is now a freelance travel writer. She has written or co-written three Bradt Guides: Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, and St Helena, Ascension & Tristan da Cunha, and since 2002 has been helping to update Chris McIntyre’s guides to Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zanzibar. When not researching far-flung islands or in the wilds of Africa, she and her husband are likely to be found toting backpacks on long-distance hiking trails.
