Jo Davey is a London-based freelance writer and photographer whose adventures have taken her across six continents. Her love for travel began and blossomed in Japan: within hours of landing in Tokyo, a naïve 17 year-old proclaimed she would be back to live there one day. Eight years and several trips later, Jo found herself working in a restaurant outside Tokyo, training under a Michelin-starred chef. Unfortunately she was never satisfied with exploring just the one country and now spends every free moment planning the next expedition. She rarely minds where it is as long as she can indulge one of her many interests: art, culture, language, nature, trekking, diving, food or festivals. When she’s not scrambling and eating her way around the world, she’s writing about doing so and trying to make up for her reliance on English by learning six languages, with varying degrees of success.
