Bio
John Pitt studied economics and philosophy at East Anglia University before working at the Ministry of Defence and in local government. He travelled extensively in North America, including over 80,000 miles by train, and wrote on travel for Thomas Cook as well as for magazines and newspapers such as the The Sunday Times, the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail. John Pitt sadly passed away in April 2023.
