Jonathan and Angela Scott (www.jonathanangelascott.com) are award-winning wildlife photographers, TV presenters, passionate conservationists and prolific authors. Their 35 books include Jonathan’s autobiography, The Big Cat Man, among those published by Bradt. Two recent titles – Sacred Nature: Life’s Eternal Dance and Sacred Nature 2: Reconnecting People to Our Planet – respectively won Gold and Silver for Photography in the Independent Book Publisher’s Awards. They have written and illustrated eight titles in the award-winning children’s education series Collins Big Cat and, more recently, four books for Cambridge Reading Adventures. On TV, they co-presented two seasons of Big Cat for Animal Planet and presented segments for Paramount Television’s series Wild Things, while Jonathan presented Big Cat Diary alongside several series for both the BBC and Animal Planet. Committed conservationists, their focus today is on the Sacred Nature Initiative, a non-profit that they launched in 2021, which seeks to inspire, educate and conserve.
