Luciano Di Gregorio is a freelance writer and editor, as well as an educator at both secondary and tertiary levels. He was born and raised in Pescara (Abruzzo, Italy), then in Melbourne (Australia). Di Gregorio spent almost ten years living in Hong Kong, working at an international school, plus a few years living in London and Brussels. During his twenties, he spent much time in Abruzzo, developing the connection that later led to the researching and writing of his Bradt guide, Abruzzo. His writing has been published in newspapers and magazines, particularly in the in-flight publications of major airlines. Currently, he lives in Abruzzo, focusing on a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at New York University while working for an Australian university.
