Paul Murray
Bio
Paul Murray enjoyed a 30-year career with a leading international airline, during which he spent almost the whole of his leisure time either travelling the world or planning his next overseas venture. One of these trips took him to Zimbabwe soon after the country’s independence. From a South African base, very frequent visits to Zimbabwe followed over the following three decades. These visits eventually led to him realising an African ambition – buying a house at the world-famous Victoria Falls. This gave Murray unparalleled access to the diverse riches of Zimbabwe which, in turn, enabled him to write Bradt’s Zimbabwe. He now lives in the UK.
