Sean Rorison is a freelance writer from Vancouver, British Columbia, who has made his way to over 90 countries. His range of travel interests is broad, including some of the most contentious regions of the world – from Afghanistan to Iraq, Colombia to Somalia; he has also indulged his love for more mainstream destinations like Liechtenstein, Malta and Japan. Alongside authoring Bradt’s guide to the Congo countries, Rorison has written numerous articles in print and online media about the political and social situations in countries such as Somalia, Algeria and Pakistan. He currently lives in the Canadian Arctic.
